Year 8 PGL Ardeche
The two-centre watersports trip includes time equally spent completing a canoe descent of the spectacular Ardeche Gorge and undertaking a variety of sea-based activities (windsurfing, topper sailing, body boarding, banana boat ride, snorkelling, etc) on the Mediterranean coast with the company PGL. As well as providing a cultural experience and promoting personal, social and health education, the trip provides opportunities to develop aspects of the programme of study for P.E. at Key Stage 3 that we are unable to provide within school.
